  When her own father had the audacity to introduce a  silver star recipient as just a low-level paper-pusher down at the supply depots, my blood literally boiled. The moment general Vance slammed that challenge coin onto the mahogany table was the most satisfying karma I’ve ever witnessed. Did anyone else cheer at their screen? Also, do you guys think Robert will ever realize his own arrogance destroyed him, or will he play the victim until the day he died?

  I have my father’s dog tag from 1930.  It is round. It is not rusted in any form. And it’s on a brown shoestring. He served in the Army guarding the Panama Canal.

  before Seinna shipped out for basic training Grandpa Henery was 88 years old then at the dinner years later he is still 88 years old wow I hope I age like that

  US Military Dog Tags don't rust.  They are made from 304 Stainless Steel. They have been so since the 1940s.

  I love the aquarium background. &nbsp;I used to have an aquarium similar to this. &nbsp;It had an under gravel filter, 6 neon tetras, 2 cory cats, a couple of algae eaters, and a couple of sword tails. &nbsp;That is only one configuration, but it is the one that looked the most like this layout.<br><br>When I was going into basic training, my neighbor told me something my parents never could have said. &nbsp;He had been in the army. &nbsp;He told me, &quot;There is nothing I can tell you that will prepare you for this experience. &nbsp;Just keep your head down, your nose clean, and follow orders. &nbsp;You&apos;ll get through it. &nbsp;Best advice I ever got.<br><br>Just FYI, I have never been on a battlefield myself. &nbsp;My job was to maintain 2 computers that transmitted message traffic between 40 missile siloes and collected equipment maintenance logs to report to the command post. &nbsp;Stuff that was classified top secret, that enemies would love to know when making their plans, and we could not talk about, for all that it was mundane stuff that most people would find boring. &nbsp;During my time in federal civil service after I was discharged, I had friends who did go to the battlefield who came back missing limbs, or experiencing traumatic brain injury. &nbsp;I still dream about friends who left whole, and came back changed, no longer the people I saw leaving. &nbsp;There is nothing glorious about war.<br><br>I have been coined once in my life. &nbsp;It wasn&apos;t for combat. &nbsp;It was for having a leading role in a voice activated answering machine system. &nbsp;I learned how to build new notes and consolidate nodes no longer needed.
