On January 1st, 1979, before I had ever heard a Christian sermon or message, I found myself dangling (or so it seemed) over the abyss, and the only thing (or so it seemed) which prevented me plunging downwards into the pit of hell, was the hand of the God who I had rejected all my life. I had never been so fearful of dying as I was that day. And I knew there was nothing I could do about it. But the loving God, who put me through that experience, saved me from certain death that night. And a few weeks later, He arranged for me to hear a gospel message, gave me faith to believe it and, after much prayer, He gave me full assurance of salvation through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. When I watched the video clip today, I was very much reminded of the night my foot almost slipped. Praise the Lord! 🙏
