  I am 8 months clean from methamphetamine. I have two beautiful twin daughters who are 14. I’m working with God to restore my relationships with them since my absence. Ive been watching a sermon every day lately and it’s changing my life. Thank you elevation church for being a channel of Gods love healing my mind body and soul.

  Sometimes the door God opens requires us to stop waiting for perfect conditions and step forward in faith. The opportunity may be in front of us, but courage is what allows us to walk through it. Trust God enough to take the step. 🙏

  So I often like to play the first Elevation Worship / Steven Furtick video that comes up on my YouTube landing page for me.<br><br>Tonight, I am spending the evening at my actual home. &nbsp;But these days, “home” is a complicated word for me. &nbsp;I live and work at a drug rehab. &nbsp;I am 24 hours a day amongst around 100 other men and women all working together towards the same goal of recovery. &nbsp;And tonight, being here alone is hard.<br><br>This is the same space where I spent decades using. A place that holds a lot of memories, and a lot of pieces of a life I am trying to leave behind. &nbsp;And tonight, I needed God. &nbsp;So I reached out.<br><br>And He answered. &nbsp;Right away. &nbsp;The very first video that came up was exactly what I needed to hear at exactly the moment I needed to hear it.<br><br>From the video:<br><br> &nbsp;&quot;That&apos;s what has to happen, y&apos;all. The Word of God has to get in your heart. &nbsp;Up here in your head you just have a history lesson. &nbsp;Maybe you have a little motivational saying. If it gets in your heart, it goes home with you. &nbsp;If it goes home with you, it can help you in your real life, not your church life. Not this little time we share together but the whole expanse of your existence as a human being. That&apos;s what I&apos;m after, and I believe that&apos;s what God is after today. So, may he speak something life changing in this place.&quot;<br><br>I need something to take home with me. &nbsp;Something strong enough to meet me in the rooms where I used to use. &nbsp;Something that can reach beyond a church service, beyond a meeting, beyond a moment—and into my actual life. &nbsp;Tonight, I needed God to meet me here.<br><br>And He did. &nbsp;Thank you God, Steven and Elevation Worship. &nbsp;🙏

  Before this sermon even gets started. I&apos;m cleaning my garage and my phone is on the kitchen counter. This started on its own. Out of nowhere. Yes God let&apos;s go.

  My fiancé and I are both 16 months sober and it wouldn’t be possible without God. We brought God into our relationship during our addiction and it wasn’t long before he opened the door for us to get into treatment and begin our new lives clean. We went from living on the streets chasing our addiction to having a roof over our heads. We’ve been to hold the same jobs for over a year and advance to management with our companies. We have been blessed to get to honor God and get married a month from today. We will get to remember the day we share our love with our family and friends in Gods presence. We are moving into a new home this week and none of it would be possible without Gods Grace and Mercy. I hope we are able to continue to share our testimony with others and hopefully help others who are still suffering.

  Hey Steven , a few months ago you from out of no were i was thinking about bad things happening in my, i put the tv on to try and forget my problems, i bin thinking about god alot but don&apos;t understand the word of god untill you came along on channel 9 then TBN IN NYC, LONG STORY SHORT YOU HELPED ME CHANGE MY LIFE THRU JESUS, IT&apos;S STILL A STURGILL AT TIMES BUT WHEN I LISTEN TO YOU EVERY DAY UM FEELING STRONGER EACH DAY, THANK YOU STEVEIN FOR HELPING ME TO EXPLAIN GOD TO ME, YOUR A TOTAL BLESSING IN MY LIFE, PLEASE PRAY FOR ME AND EVERYONE ELSE STRUGGLING IN LIFE TO MAKE US STRONGER OK YOU CHANGED MY LIFE, LOVE YOU BRO THANK YOU PRISE JESUS, GOD IS GREAT AND I NO NOW BECAUSE OF YOU GOD IS REAL, PLEASE PRAY FOR ME THAT I GROW STRONGER I NOW NO I CAN&apos;T DO IT WITH OUT GOD THE MY FATHER ABOVE.
