I heard this song in early spring '78 when I was 5 years old, growing up in the Bronx. It did something to me the day I first heard it. A lifting of my soul, a connection to a deeper level of consciousnesses that my young brain intuitively sensed, and a feeling of intense joy. That memory is etched in my mind and to this day it is my favorite song, and my anthem. Great mix and take on it here!
