You know you've made it when you shout out the product and it shoots up to 10x the price in the first hour.

They say the two happiest days of a boat owner's life are the day he buys his boat..... and the day he sells it.

Two pills, red and blue. Take the blue pill - the story ends, you wake up in your bed and remain a video capture dongle for life. Take the red pill - you become a human calculator and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes.

I've seen countless digitized tapes throughout the years, and i always thought that the glitching and jerking of the image was due to degraded tapes or faulty VCR's that got misaligned. I never knew something as a time base corrector existed, or that it could produce so much better quality videos. The more you know.

I called that business owner out for not using any type of TBC in his setup. It's sad what these guys do to precious memories.

This video was probably really handy for the 3 people that were able to buy one for $20.

The reason why Firewire is the preferred way to transfer sustained data is that it has the ability to write directly to the memory of the host, in contrast to USB.

Fun fact: before Canopus developed their own ADC chips, they used Sony's ADC boards on their multi-thousand dollar DV-Rex NLE systems. In fact, it's probably the exact same chipset as the DVMC.
