My service mgr. asked me to give a ride to a customer while her car was in for service..She sat up front for the twenty minute ride to her hotel. I introduced myself as did she..just her first name..During our small talk music came up..I mentioned some groups i enjoyed..She asked if i had plans for that evening, which i had not..She wrote something down on a business card held it till we arrived at her hotel..She handed me the business card and said see you later..The card read..two tickets, two backstage passes, signed Natalie..I looked up as she walked away, she smiled and waved..The reality kicked in, i just spent 20 minutes alone with Natalie Merchant..She was doing coffee house appearances throughout New England..To my surprise and smile, she remembered my name and shook my hand..Needless to say my gf was just as delighted to meet her..To this day, many years later i still pinch myself...

Natalie Merchant possesses one of those rare, pure, angelic voices that mesmerizes and captivates listeners. Nobody else sounds like her. Not even close. That voice is one in a billion.

Can we all go back in time to the 90’s?    Life just seemed so much more simpler and enjoyable then.   Beautiful ...

So glad I was brought up in a time when music was great and talk shows were normal and entertaining

This is the quintessential shy girl, with a huge gift, who fascinates. Love her.

One of the best concerts I ever saw was 10,000 Maniacs on the In My Tribe tour in spring 1988, with Tracy Chapman opening …… absolutely phenomenal
