I believe that this is a first. A drummer on Drumeo that brought a guitar.

I a Navajo man still considered Indians as anthem for all of us Tribes. Thanks to my dad who got me into Anthrax. Love them both.🤘🏼😎🤘🏼

He's changed it up from the album version a bit.  Trust me, I've been air-drumming it for over thirty years.

Remember that he designed and illustrated every Anthrax album cover to this day as well. 😊

For me "Persistence of Time" is the ultimate Anthrax album, but I discovered them with "Among the Living" so this video brought me back to my teenage years. Benante has always been top five of all time for me, and he's still bringing it.

My girlfriend bought me Among for my birthday on March 23rd, 1987, the day after it dropped. She also got me tickets to the March 30th show at the Commodore Ballroom with Exodus and a couple other bands. I saw Anthrax the previous year at the Commodore with Testament and Death Angel then again in the spring of 1989 when they opened for KISS at the Pacific Coliseum. Next to Dave Lombardo who was the reason I started playing drums in '83 Charlie Benante was one of my biggest influences. If you can learn to play Slayer and Anthrax on drums you can learn anything Lars has ever done with Metallica, matter of fact if you can learn Anthrax or Slayer songs you're already better than Lars.

I remember riding the school bus, cranking Among The Living cassette tape on my Walkman.  Charlie seems like a drummer you'd love to take lessons from.
