If you’re watching this while trying to leave, trying to stay away, or wondering why you’re still tied to someone who’s hurt you so deeply, I see you. The pull you feel isn’t weakness, its trauma bonding.

Inside my 12-week Trauma Bond Recovery Program, I work in a small group of women who feel exactly like you feel right now. We dismantle the bond together so you can finally detach without guilt, fear, or self doubt.

If you’re ready for personalized support and a community that understands every detail, learn more here: https://strongerthanbefore.ca/trauma-bond-recovery-group-coaching/

They’re not in love with you, they’re in convenience with you.

They won't defend you in public. They won't protect you either.

It took me like 6 years to realize it wasn’t me, it was him doing all of these things. Once I realized it was emotional warfare, I then saw that I had no support system, family, friends, no money, car job, none of which could be tracked as his fault, but when we met I had a great car, 2 great jobs, a strong support system, and money saved. Im still struggling so hard. Thank you for making this!! It’s not talked about enough.

"Being single is better than being with a man who ignores you, neglects you, and dismisses you". This is SO true. Come back to yourself. Love yourself and you will come back to life (experiencing joy). It can happen. Great content! Thank you! 🙏🏻

At a women’s shelter I said, “My ex never put a mark on me.” Someone else said, “The really bad ones never do.”

Abusers always say it's the wrong time to discuss the issue. What they're really saying is, there will never be a right time and at no time will they want to discuss it.

Society wants people to think abuse is loud and always physical. It's a cover-up for mental, emotional and psychological abusers.

It gets even more confusing when you have a man that is VERY emotionally intelligent, and can be incredibly sensitive and kind, as long as your problems aren’t HIM. Once they are, then the nastiness comes out. The coercive control, gaslighting and manipulation come out. THAT is incredibly destabilizing. Because you have 2 completely different people that you have to reconcile together. It’s debilitating

It’s terrifying to realize, “holy sh*t… he TRULY does not care. He absolutely doesn’t care.”

Withdrawal and the silent treatment, along with an attitude of disgust, can speak way more loudly than yelling. Seething rage just under the surface.
