I went into Trails expecting basically nothing and what I got was something that captured me like only a few franchises did. Such a great series, such a great story, and so many awesome characters.

Yeah, Falcom's hybrid combat-system is just pure fun. It's great to see studios like Atlus picking up on and implementing it with Metaphor Refantazio.

"Oh jeez another video of Branden glazing the Trails series 😒" - me who has only played Sky FC and the remake, but desperately wants to play the whole series.

watches the whole thing anyways

I was randomly at a Gamestop and saw Daybreak on the shelf. I was just browsing and I havent played a JRPG other than Pokemon. Decided to buy it after seeing decent reviews. I basically judged the book by its cover.
BEST. CHOICE. EVER. I fucking love it. Wow. And the depth of the games I'd missed out on? Oh my GOD. 11/10

This is the most heart-felt recommendation for a video game series I've ever seen, especially at the end. I'm middle-aged too and I picked up Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter not long back and am greatly enjoying it. Thank you for continuously hyping this series up. I hope to finish every one of the games in my lifetime.

I also got into The JRPG Pursuit and am slowly working though the episodes. It's delightful even when I disagree with you guys (mainly on small things like terminology).

Just wanted to say I'm mostly a DQ and SMT guy, but y'all at the JRPG Pursuit got me into Trails. I'm looking forward to catching up on this series over the years.

I've only played through the remake of 1st chapter but I can say without a doubt that 2nd chapter is by far my most anticipated game of this year. I'm very much looking forward to whatever comes next.

Started Trails FC a few months ago and have now reached Cold Steel 1, having an absolute blast! It's really cool to see how the series evolve not only story-wise which is much talked about, but also as video games with added QoL and every game improving in that front. The combat has come so far from Sky FC to CS1 and I can't wait to see what's still coming! Trails is amazing!

Trails is the GOAT! It will always be my favorite series forever! I get teary thinking about it ending. I don’t want it to go even though I know it’s best for it to go out on a high. As soon as it ends I will start playing all over again! ❤
