  Any negative effect the job has on the constables will filter down to anyone they come into contact with in the course of their duties .

  I left the police in 2013. Best thing i ever did. Without a doubt the most corrupt organisation I have ever worked for.

  The MOJ is very similar. While not nearly as traumatic as being a police officer, working in the civil service comes with many of the same issues. I was once given a whole days lecture about my tone in an email to court because I was trying to get a sex offender prosecuted, and the courts were letting him off on a technicality. They didn't care about justice, or how hard i was working on the case, or the victims, they cared about the tone of my email... I intend to leave the service as soon as I can, it has betrayed me and the country.

  Good video Jay, I spoke to a PC at a careers fair who encouraged me to apply for the PCDA programme. I happily applied as I’m looking for a long lasting and meaningful career, but after doing some further research and seeing videos such as this, which expose the Police management structure and how policing is swayed by politics, I have no choice but to withdraw my application.

  Ten years! You must have been one of the longest serving officers there! I lasted just over 6 months before the pressures of the PCDA destroyed the job I had worked so hard to get into.Looking at the state of policing at the moment and speaking to some people from my cohort I think I had a lucky escape.
