  I’m a poor. I’ll never afford a super car. But a brick set I can swing.<br>Bugatti, Koenigsegg, McLaren, and Aston Martin are my favorites. Lego is a premium brand, with premium prices that deliver a premium experience.<br>However, some of the alternatives out there bring a more affordable option and equally enjoyable experience.<br>I bought got the Koenigsegg Sadar’s Spear by Lego. But that’s all I’ll get from Lego. <br>I’m looking at alternatives for any other sets I want to add to the collection. I can buy more for the money.

  In the Maclaren P1, LEGO has changed the gear shift control component compared to the previous Ferrari and Lamborghini models, where it worked perfectly, especially in the Lamborghini Sian. Unfortunately, the latest solution in the Maclaren P1 significantly relegates this LEGO design to the past. Instead of a new, improved patent for this system, we&apos;re presented with an underdeveloped solution that malfunctions more often than it works properly. Gear changes aren&apos;t smooth and fast. The gears can get stuck frequently. Sometimes, a single unlocking isn&apos;t enough. The permanent gear locking in the latest LEGO Technic model brings the proud LEGO company down to earth. However, such complex mechanics have outgrown LEGO. It&apos;s best not to use underdeveloped design solutions that ruin the overall effect for fans of the brand. This is especially true given that the previous design solution is accurate and lightning-fast. A new product isn&apos;t just about the bodywork; the mechanics must be reliable. &nbsp;The Maclaren P1 is an example of a failed solution for a top-of-the-line Lego car, especially for a customer group that&apos;s a perfectionist, and Lego fans are one of them. It&apos;s sad. It casts a shadow over Lego. Lego still has a chance to avoid another blunder in 2026 with the Zonda.

  This video may be 11 months old . But I agree on some things . I don’t like two book I rather have one instead of 2 like why did Lego did that and McLaren has a beautiful design and Porsche may be first Lego technic and I love how it being history that what I like

  Can use the books as display pieces. I think they are so pretty I never took them out of the box and just used the instructions in the app.

  I agree the McLaren P1 is many people&apos;s favorite supercar and this set is impressive! Still, two instructions isn&apos;t good, I really have my Sian instructions on my bookshelf. (I commented this a while back but accidentally on a different video) 😅
