  i think it might be an universal rule that no one figures out you can upgrade your technology slots by just clicking on them in the exosuit menu same as inventory slots.

  I&apos;d played this game for about 15 hours, a bit when it came out to my largest disappointment (I was a preorderer), and then again a couple years later to a slightly less disappointment, but it just never hooked me.<br><br>About 2 days ago I start playing again, and I&apos;ve already doubled my play time, I am absolutely addicted. It just got.. fun, like so much fun lmao and I&apos;ve still barely scratched the surface. The mad lads just went and did it, I&apos;m actually glad I bought the game at release now, craziest redemption arc of all time.

  tl;dr of No Man&apos;s Sky:<br><br>You wake up on a strange planet with no memory, repair your ship, and follow mysterious signals that lead you across the stars. Along the way you uncover the tragic fate of Artemis, meet other Travelers, and discover that the galaxy itself is a vast simulation created by the Atlas, an artificial intelligence that is now breaking down. As you explore deeper, you learn the Sentinels are its guardians, trying to maintain order, and eventually you are faced with a choice: reset the simulation and create a new universe, reject the Atlas and keep living in a decaying reality, or simply keep wandering the stars. After this choice, the story fades into the background and you’re free to explore, trade, build, and discover indefinitely.

  <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFkqwzOJSgo&amp;t=3866">1:04:26</a> the first freighter you accept is always free regardless of quality so it&apos;s actually better to decline them until you run into an S-tier. There is a way to trigger the freighter event. They&apos;re more designed for mid-endgame content so it really doesn&apos;t hurt that much to hold off until your first S class because in the end you&apos;ll save a great deal on upgrades by holding out for it. <br><br>This is mostly more relevant for if you decide to do another playthrough like this the next time they have a major update

  As one of the few in that 0.8 % Welcome to the club! I did this a few years ago with a group of other players as a race to the center in Permadeath. Took me like 8 hours and i died at least 3 times and had to start over, but I did it!

  Im honestly so happy to see playthroughs like this, the transformation from &quot;eh i have no idea what&apos;s happening&quot; to full immersion and adoration of the scale and beauty of the game and its story. Its easily my favourite game, and seeing people love it so much makes me so happy

  As someone who didn&apos;t see any advertisement for this game before they just happened to pick it up and play it, it was magical. Everyone was bashing the game for not having multiplayer and being empty, but all I saw was millions of worlds to explore &amp; name.

  The sentinel ship quest, while a bit of a pain, &nbsp;leads to my favorite ship type in the whole game. I still prefer my sentinel ship over corvettes
