  I love both but my fav is Fort Morgan, Al.   We rent a beach house and you practically have the beach to yourself . I’ve learned to stay clear of condos nearby a beach house if you want privacy .  We’ve been renting for 26 years along the Gulf coast of Al and Fl panhandle .

  The Gulf of Mexico has some decent quality areas including the Orange Beach section in Alabama.

  There&apos;s no difference. And if you vacation there, you&apos;ll find yourself going back and forth constantly anyway.😂<br>I&apos;ve never gone to Bon Secor or Fairhope, but we always do Foley, Gulf Shores, and Orange Beach.<br>What I REALLY want to know is: WHERE is the bay in Bay Minette??

  They are both bad as the traffic and people are unbelievable. Both places rape your wallets in stores, shops and even to park IF you can find a parking spot. The greed is Bad there. The waters are polluted especially after heavy rains the rains, raw sewerage is flowing into the Gulf and this is no BS as you can look it up, especially on a Fairhope web site which is next to the Mobile Bay. I live here and drive to Florida to swim.
