You have answered all my unasked questions.<br>I was thinking I would need self watering pots and i was driving myself scatty looking online for some to order, ( too much choice)<br>😅 My alocasias have been waiting patiently for this day, two are pushing themselves out of the pots by growing &nbsp;abundant roots. Fingers crossed 🤞

  No drainage, semi hydro in moss with a leca reservoir has saved so many plants for me,,,and im finally able to actually grow ferns, calathea, and maranta! They all thrive in this growing system. Alocasia, anthurium love it as well. <br><br>I get glass vessels at the thrift shop, a lot cheaper then pots. Im so happy to have discovered semihydro

  Hey there Claire! I&apos;m here from the full on hydroponics world and just wanted to throw out there that adding a hydro additive bacteria (called Bacillus amyloliquefaciens) will drastically reduce any forms of root rot, i also usually add a multi strained bacterial and mycrorhizal innoculant as well which has a host of benefits in hydroponics environments, might be worth having a look if you don&apos;t use any already, they very noticeably increase my plant health. The common brands over here in the usa are called hydroguard for the bacteria and great white for the multi strain.<br><br>PS: Watching your channel has caused me to buy my own anthurium pallidiflorum, may it grow half as big as yours

  I have about 70 plants in passive/semi hydro, including succulents and cacti. It&apos;s not only for water-loving plants! Alocasias, Geoppertia, Spath, Schismatoglottis, and Anthurium love it, but so do Haworthia, Aloe, ZZ, Jade, Sansevieria/Dracaena/Snake, Beaucarnea/ponytail, barrel cactus, stone plants, rat tail, monkey tail, prickly pear, mammilaria, and many other that prefer it desert-like.
