  The Sion nerf was a two-fold move.<br>1. Baus was genuinely exploiting how Sion worked to climb alongside abusing mechanics like Bounty gold to push his advantage.<br>2. It was to deter low elo players from continuing this trend as, &quot;Oh this champion got nerfed so that means its bad now&quot;.<br><br>It was a literal shit show when Baus went viral because EVERYONE was playing his inting Sion strategy and failing. <br>To put it in Dota terms, imagine watching someone play Meepo with insane map wide micro and as a new player you think, &quot;Hey, I can do this too&quot;, and proceeding to do absolutely nothing and feed your ass off. It was genuinely bad.

  after this video came out there were more baus specific nerfs btw. The whole kill reward and bounty system was changed to actually be bound to only how much gold the player has. So rn if you are 0/7, but even in gold, then your death is still worth the same as the opponents.

  My favorite Baus moment was when he was casting a pro game with Caedrel and I think Crownie, and he was clearly checked out not really paying attention or saying anything. The other two guys were analyzing the game and then Caedrel mention&apos;s the name of KC&apos;s support player, and suddenly Baus perks up at the caster&apos;s desk, points at the screen, and just exclaims &quot;No no no this guy Targamas is so fucking boosted! Every time i see him in solo queue he&apos;s just running it down!&quot; I laugh every time, the other two guys literally did a double take and then facepalmed. And KC fans are still mad about it to this day

  fun fact, baus introduced this strad back in 2018 with a different play style, where he would aim to die to just hit the tower in zombie form, on repeat, this meant that he would perma split push with the towers being his only goal; in fact, turret plates with turret fortification were introduced to nerf him.<br>later on they even nerfed the damage to structures in zombie form, just to nerf him.<br><br>they also overhauled the bounty system to nerf his strat.<br>truly a legend.<br>one player bending a whole company

  Some guy already commented this, but yea, after the timeline of this video, there did come additional game system level changes to the entire bounty system, towers and gold itself, that are considered by many to have been influenced by baus&apos;s playstyle and a nerf to him yet again. I think the changes were warranted and good, because the old bounty system, as discussed in this video so many times was flawed and could be abused, but withouth baus, i think it might have never rly been changed.

  @<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OB2itj_sr0k&amp;t=260">4:20</a> the main reason it&apos;s mentally hard to do a Korea climb is that Korea has a really unhealthy attitude to ffing games minute 15, if you watch a western streamer on their Korea climb a constant theme is going to be their team surrendering as soon as it&apos;s possible in response to a botlane double kill or losing a dragon or something, games that are super winnable just &nbsp;60/40 or maybe 75/25 will be ffed on the spot because time is money when you pay by the hour.

  This year what they implemented was tower crystals, role quests, all towers having plates and plates not going away, they used to at 14 or 15 mins i think, but not sure on the timing.

They also changed how the plates work quite a bit. &nbsp;Last season only the T1 tower had plates, the plates were worth slightly more ( ~125g each IIRC it was slightly different Midlane vs the sidelanes), the plating fell off completely at exactly 14 minutes. This made the tower much easier to kill, but completely removed the possibly of any extra gold from the remaining plates.<br><br>Now that i think about it, im not sure if a T2 tower with the plating, is harder to kill now than it was last season. The T1 tower feels &nbsp;pretty much the same.:30
