Joe Pesci was the perfect actor to play Spilotro in Casino.

Nice to hear narration which is clearly human and not bland AI.

His name wasn't Jerry Lister. It was Lisner.

Not one mention of Spilotro's connection to Lefty Rosenthal in the whole documentary

Although Casino is pretty faithful to what really went down in Vegas, it's nice to see what actually happened to the real Tony Santoro, who undoubtedly was a nasty, totally amoral piece of work. In fact, Scorsese could be said to have gone easy in the movie on the extent of Spilatro's operation - especially his corrution of the police - and his sadistic violence. Instead, most people will remember him for seducing Rothstein's ( Lefty Rosenthal's) wife who did in fact meet an end similar to "Ginger" in the movie. A classic that often goes under the radar because of Goodfellas.

I went into a top bank in London. A guy came in with a bag of money. He could have been anyone.
