  As a Canadian Vet with 35 years experience as a Weapons Technician (land) I spent many days on the range with the 50 cal Browning, both the old M2 and the QCB (Quick Change Barrel). Once we started firing, both live and blank we had nearly 0 stoppages. Lots of oil, proper headspace and timing and these guns were virtually unstoppable.   I&apos;m a M2 and Belgium FN MAG GPMG gunner in the 80s on the M113 Armour vehicle. If you encountered frequent jam on the M2, you are not firing the M2 with the correct spacing in the round chamber and the end of the barrel. The gauge set is to set the timing and space at the chamber. If jam occurred frequently, the space is too tight, &nbsp;the empty cartridge stuck in the barrel way too tight to be extracted by the bolt mechanism, open the space with 2 clicks anticlockwise of the barrel and test the M2 again, repeat the same procedure till the M2 can fire off the entire belt of 100 rounds each.
