  Wild that Meta used the same joystick since 2019. This breakdown finally explains drift better than Meta ever did and the fix is way easier to follow than I expected

  It&apos;s wild that these companies keep using the same kind of joysticks that basically break every few months, so we give them more money for new controllers. Meanwhile hollow joysticks solve a lot of issues like stick drift and more reliable. But we&apos;ll never see them in first party controllers

  If you are adventurous you can take the entire joystick module apart and clean the contact pads. It&apos;s a little time consuming but it&apos;s kept me from buying new joysticks since I got a Q2 back in 2021.

  Well, it&apos;s a good thing this is offered as a service because I&apos;d forget where everything goes.I&apos;m really good at taking thigs apart but not puting them back together again

  Thank you for posting this &quot;Updated Repair Tutorial&quot;. I was watching the one posted 3 years ago and found it a little confusing. This video was by far easier to follow along with (though would love to see a video with the same process being done for the Left Controller, as having dyslexia was part of the reason I found the previous video confusing (having to mirror things to disassemble and reassemble the controllers). Also, would it be possible to have sections zoomed in a bit so that it would be easier to see hooks and things? The camera placement was hard to see some parts even of full screen.<br><br> &nbsp;Rating for the Tutorial Video: 9/10

  Glad we are able to replace the joystick without replacing the whole controller.
