I like your new disclaimer at the beginning - "This video is self funded......... Just Honesty." Very difficult to find on YouTube nowadays. BTW, no AI used (you can claim this as well). Some YouTubers use AI as story presenter.

Its tragic what happened to SAA. A once promising airline and a symbol of post-Apatheid South Africa was destroyed by corrupt and incompetent executives that ran the airline into the ground. They were picked not by their expertise but by questionable connections to the powerful. Now the airline is on a slow path to recovery. But as you said, it remains a shell of its former self.

Love flying SAA, always friendly, good service, and usually cheap. They are slowly expanding again,but have been plagued by the current aircraft market and have experienced delays in their aircraft procurement

I flew JNB-GRU last year in Biz and there was no sparkling wine on board.<br>The crew said it was not part of the service at the moment.<br><br>I’m glad they now have proper champagne.

I’m a frequent Business Class flyer on SAA (Accra-Jnb-Hre / Acc-Jnb-Cpt). It’s arguably my favorite airline! The São Paulo flight is top tier long haul better than my usual Cpt-Atl (on Delta). I hope they add better equipment to their fleet in the near future other than the Airbus 330-300 so we can have WiFi connection. The OR Tambo International lounge is fantastic, not much a fan of the domestic one.
