I struggled to focus my mind on the message, when Pastor said we can't pray for more than one thing, when I did my research I found myself questioning the prayers Jesus taught his disciples, because that prayer had different points (daily bread, deliverance from temptation and all that)

Then i had to condition my mind to conclude that I shouldn't see it as a doctrine but as an instruction

Selah

When i hear this, i remember that my most powerful prayers are always when i'm on one topic.
Example: before class started, 1st year for my child i took one week to present my daughter to the Lord for covering.

The first day i did not knew how to organise it. I prayed for clearance that day.
I got a map from the Lord (through the bible app) and i followed.

I prayed on one aspect of the protection each day, but the TOPIC remained the same.

At the end of the 7th days, I covered all aspects that were important for me/us. There was 1 health issue in it

I thanked the Lord the days/weeks after since i could see those points coming to pass.

Many months after, the Lord reminded me that i own him thanksgiving on the health issue. I cannot see now if it ok, but by faith i know it is. And i was in aww!

But this said, i also pray on different topics at time.
When the Spirit pressures me on one thing, i will do my best to remain there and pour myself out.
