Skunk Baxter is a biological reel-to-reel archive and connecting bridge between all 20th-century produced music genres, guiding so much moving through this first quarter of this new millennium. His influence is tough to even comprehend and encapsulate in a comprehensive narration…and Billy, you have here framed a picture of his tapestry record of history, stories, talent, and meaning, so amazing here…Thank you for your service to the history of crafting music , hard work, dedication, and caring for these timeless men and women to bless this new generation with that kindling to spark, light up and inspire people’s futures and perspectives. Well done, sir, and Go Cubs Go!(Chicago guy here)🙏🏽

Music became my passion in 1974 once I heard his guitar solo on "Rikki Don't Lose That Number".

I got to know Dr. John pretty well, and he had the most wonderful things to say about Skunk Baxter.

Another amazing interview. I don’t think skunk cracked a smile once in this interview, but somehow still he came off as a true gentleman. The real deal.

Wasn’t really sure who this guy was but then I went back and listened to my old school live with Steely Dan of course and skunk playing lead guitar, and it just ripped ripped ripped ripped…. Wow.

Got to meet Skunk years ago during my 1991-2018 Nashville daze. He sat in at The Sutler Saloon with former Warner Bros exec, Bob Saporiti, for Bob's CD release party for his alter ego, Reckless Johnny Wales' debut album; Michael Snow also sat in - the all wore black berets. A great night of music at a now missed intimate venue...

I saw Skunk sit in with the John Entwistle Band at a club in upstate NY in the eighties. They blew the roof off the joint.
