It's good to see Smosh finally let Trevor out of their studio to rejoin his original family.

Josh scrounging up the bread crusts off of the floor and eating them in a dark corner is the truest struggle meal here

I think the difference between mental health struggle meals and poverty struggle meals is interesting. Depression meals can have nicer ingredients but must take -5 effort and look/taste like how you feel (vaguely offputting slop). Meanwhile the budget struggle meals can be inventive and take some effort (multiple steps, etc) and look/taste good, but each ingredient needs to be like max 20c. Two completely different intents and results.

these kinds of episodes really show how relative struggle is. What's a struggle meal for one person seems almost a luxury to another.

The thing I love about YouTube is there's no universe where a network cooking show says "listen, we were going to get an overhead cam, but it's cheaper if you just put this thing on your head."

Man, I love it when people are casually open about their depression haha. Trevor just dropping "when I didn't want to be alive" really hits.

Watching Trevor cook reminds me so much of drinking while making dinner and just slowly becoming a little bit goofier as the meal progresses

Trevor with “I don’t wanna be alive” meals- REAL. Mine was a full bag of nacho cheese Doritos and a bottle of barefoot pink moscato. Now that I’m feelin a bit less dead inside, I cannot even look at either haha ha ha

Josh pulling up a YouTube video in the middle of filming a YouTube video, to really make Trevor confused on which studio he’s filming at today 😂
