  The big white hotel you passed was hotel D&apos;angleterre, the most famous and exclusive hotel in Denmark.<br>Their outdoor Christmas decorations alone run into hundreds of thousands of dollars each year.<br><br>You mention that USA has hamburgers and hotdogs.. fun little fact: it was a Dane that introduced the hamburger to USA 😉<br><br>Besides that, Denmark is well known for having the best hotdogs in the world, hotdogs in Denmark are pure science to tingle every single tastebud 💪

  It’s not cold all year. We have spring, summer, autumn and winter 🤷🏻‍♀️ And of course you can’t use American dollars. That’s not our currency. <br>Come back again. Spend some more time. Denmark is so much more than Copenhagen (which you really saw only a little part of anyway). And also, next time get yourself a Danish hotdog. I bet it’ll taste a lot different from what you’re used to 😉

  About the streetlights: Those streetlights are only on the Strøget, notice on all the other streets there is no wires, all the electric is in the ground in most of Denmark 🇩🇰

  Good to see you made it out OK after you had it so hard. Happy to see you enjoyed it here.<br><br>If you ever come back, I think you&apos;d enjoy Århus&apos; Old Town (Den Gamle By) which is an outside museum of historic houses. They had some of them brought from outside straw by straw and rebuilt in the museum and you can walk inside and see how homes from the middle ages worked. non of them a grandiose like the Copenhagen building, though.<br><br>Most of the buildings you see are from the 1800s.

  One way to date buildings in Copenhagen: if they have cut-off corners, they&apos;re built after the great fire in 1728. That was to ease access for firefighting equipment.

  Fun fact for you, my grandfather once was the manager of the pub you visited, and I worked in the house, royal Copenhagen shop, you singled out in the walking street. Glad you enjoyed my home town.
