Both my grandfathers my father and my husband all coal miners I didn't even have indoor plumbing until I was a grown woman I'm 60 and live in Florida raise four kids grew up listening to this type of music catches my soul

As a 74 old trumpeter that was raised in a Christian home and a great Bible preaching church where I played in orchestra.<br> Music always started Sundays before heading to church and often continued daily. Stamps Baxter w JD Somner. Big Chief, the Cathedrals.....<br>These are EXCELLENT!!!!<br>Gospel music has and is serving to keep me going with my wife's recent Home calling.....

grew up in northern virginia....not Appalachia....but I feel like in a world gone empty stupid crazy them folks up in the hollers in neighboring Appalachia seem to still understand what it is all about. Love the music.

Raised Catholic but as a senior now I am a born again Christian and belong to an independent Baptist church. I'm learning so much about the Word of God and have a new appreciation for the old gospel music.
