You've noticed the emotion he puts into this song. And others. Now stop for a moment to appreciate that he put the same emotion into it every time he sang it. In concert, night after night. With the same intensity. The man was driven to perform.

Meatloaf was the king of the rock opera. Bat out of Hell was incredible. Paradise by the Dashboard Light. For Crying Out Loud is beautiful! Loved Meatloaf. Such a loss!

He did not pass away, he decided to sing somewhere else 😉.<br>For those of us who admired his music (Jim Steinman's mainly) and his Voice, he will always be there. So many memories related to his music.

As a drummer all I can say is that this song is brilliant, every note, every rithm, every tempo change serves it's purpose so well that it is a shame that not all the world is aware of it's existence

I always loved the Beauty & the Beast element to the video where you've got this guy that looks, feels, and would most likely be judged by society as monstrous. But the moment she accepts him, he's healed. I think it's a much deeper and more beautiful message than you'd initially think would be present in something like this.

Meat Loaf once said his voice is not naturally a Rock voice, " I had to learn how to sing Bat Out Of Hell, my voice is naturally an Opera voice", he was described as a Heldentenor, or Heroic Tenor, and he was once offered $60,000 to train his voice and open at the Met, he said " I turned it down, if I hadn't I'd be in jail for the murder of some Conductor, I'm an Opera Singer with a rebellious Rock & Roll spirit" it is said he could sing 3 octaves, and in his last concert he still sang all of his songs in the same octave as he sang them, in his 20s, how many artists could do that.... he was Phenomenal...<br><br>Rest In Peace Meat Loaf.<br>It's unlikely we'll see your like again any time soon
