  My favorite Emma Frost fact is that soemtimes shes too tired to do laundry and get into her fancy clothes so she just puts on some comfty pjs and just telepathically projects her usual outfits.

  Emma is a rather interesting character because she&apos;s one of the rare Heel Face Turn characters that never really drops their edge. So often, as a character cements their change from &quot;Bad Guy&quot; to &quot;Good Guy&quot;, they also have to start developing more pro-social behaviors. And while Emma does develop SOME of these, she NEVER stops being catty and NEVER falters in her high opinion of herself. And, at least to the best of MY knowledge, she was never a revolving door villain. Where the character flip-flops back and forth between good and bad. And part of that is because she never TRIES to be unambiguously GOOD, she is trying to be EFFECTIVE. She can be an ally in one moment, and incredibly formidable one, but then become an obstacle in the next breath because she refuses to lose over a moral quandary or ethical limit. If she has the ABILITY to win, she is going to choose the win scenario every time.<br>I would absolutely love to see Emma get included in whatever the MCU does with mutants because her style of banter and repartee would definitely slot easily into the general tone of the films but also provide some much needed friction among the heroes and with the heft to back it up. Just because it&apos;s the latest example, Daredevil might have some of that energy. The &quot;anything worth fighting for is worth fighting dirty for&quot; attitude. But if you had him next to Cap or Thor or Hawkeye, hell, even Ms. Marvel and they disagreed with something Matt was about to do they would be WINNING that conflict (Okay, even odds with Hawkeye). But Emma? Match any of those against her and she&apos;s likely going to achieve her goal. Her diamond form can make her basically untouchable to anyone but Thor, and her telepathy would likely be able to at least divert his attention long enough to achieve her goal.<br>And this means that you actually have to make your case against her. Win the ARGUMENT because you won&apos;t win the fight. If she sees some guy that needs to be reduced to a drooling invalid for the rest of their life because killing them is not an option and letting them go free is stupid, she&apos;ll just DO IT unless you can convince her of better options or why her plan has faults BEYOND being messed up and kinda evil. Plus, she&apos;s also basically only second to Magneto in being unapologetically, unashamedly pro-mutant and proud. A lot of the X-men tend to fall into that &quot;we&apos;re JUST LIKE YOU! We just want to get along and be part of society!&quot; which is NICE, but has problems. Emma and Magneto are more in the &quot;I am NOT like you, I am a MUTANT and I will ALWAYS be a mutant. I will not fit in to your society, I do not WANT to fit in to your society. I want your society to make some GOD DAMN room for us. It is not our job to conform to your needs.&quot; camp, and it makes them incredibly powerful agents in the story of a marginalized people.<br><br>As just a parting note, I will say that the closest other character to match her energy in popular media that comes to my mind is Regina George.

  I think they also made her thicker (or thiccer?) in Marvel Rivals because she&apos;s plays in the vanguard role.

  The thing about her appearance is that she’s had cosmetic surgery AND she talks about it. <br><br>Like the resurrection joke where she’s snarks she’s worried about coming back from the dead because she doesn’t know if she’ll keep her nose. She jokes about how much money it cost, how much of a pain it is, etc. <br><br>So she’s an interesting counterpoint to the typical mutant female in Marvel who just has the 2ndary mutation of “really hot”.

  Not a lot of people are talking about this, because the obvious/primary reason she’s showing a lot of skin is fanservice, but for the purposes of Marvel Rivals, Emma has to show a lot of skin in order to make her Diamond form readable in combat.<br><br>Those thighs aren’t just for show, they are a billboard for advertising if she’s in melee or ranged mode.

  I love her bc she’s so multi-faceted like yeah she was a villain and had a messy affair, but everything she does is for the betterment of mutant kind, specifically the children of tomorrow.
