Flash is 11-4 on random, a 73% winrate. That's a higher winrate than any other player has in ASL history.

if he had won that season's ASL playing as random it would even further cement his status as the true GOAT of gaming.

Flash came so damn close to winning it all. I wish he won the ASL title that year playing as random.

How many stars had to align for FlaSh to get all three different races, and then win a clean 3-0 over one of the best Terrans in the world? It's just...amazing. I always appreciate videos like these that help cement and preserve FlaSh's greatness and legacy in SC:BW.

I just came back to StarCraft 1 after 22 years, and its just awesome to see that this game is still so hyped. The LAN parties I had with my friends during my childhood are unforgettable, and even just playing through the campaign again after all these years was an incredible experience, not only because of the nostalgia, but because it really is the best RTS game ever made.

Some people might say that StarCraft 1 is more complicated and awkward to play compared to modern RTS games, but I say that the difficulty is the reason why its still being played after all these years. True gamers will always look for a challenge they can grow from, and they know that games that are too easy simply dont get played for long.

My main game is World of Warcraft and I absolutely love it, but Im using StarCraft 1 now to keep my brain sharp, and I really enjoy getting better at it. I also just started watching the Day9tv Learning StarCraft video series to learn everything about the game. I absolutely love it because he explains everything in such a simple but detailed way, and its just awesome listening to a nerd talk about his favorite game.

Hopefully more people will give this game a chance, because StarCraft 1 deserves it!

Greetings from Austria!

6:30 one thing people ALWAYS forget is that flash, when he was upcoming and still trying to overcome jaedong (which he eventually does handily), was KNOWN as a cheesy player. He'd resort to cheeses very often, so playing random is a major advantage when you're not going to automatically going to the standard every game. Not trying to get any credit away from him, but it's good to remind people that flash is not scared to cheese, he did it often when he was very young.

I love how the moment they see a single pixel that looks vaguely Terran their faces be like: chuckles "I'm in danger"
