  I wanted a turbo s for more than 10 years. It was my dream car, screen saver and background on my pc. Then my wife bought me a track day at Porsche’s silverstone track and I tried one. It was a 992.1. It was amazing, but also way, way too fast for the road. It was clear you’d never get to push it that much and, as Joe said, you’d probably have a run in with the constabulary. Since then I’ve just let it go. Recently bought an M3 touring, which is more than fast enough and more practical, and I’m very happy with it. Doesn’t have the cache or driving dynamics of a 911, but it does fit my golf clubs and can take my son to uni. Great video Joe.

  A very honest and useful review.  I have a comparatively puny 400bhp 911 and it honestly feels powerful enough for public roads.  As an aside I have an EV too - I have this creeping feeling that some powerfully equipped PDK 911s are starting to feel a bit like EVs!  I know that’s a crime to say, but it’s a thought I’m having.

  Everyone said the 992.1 didnt sound good, but actually it had a very nice gt2rs ish roar to it. This 992.2 lost it all tho and replaced it with speakers😢

  That T-shirt is AMAZING! 😍😍😍<br><br>The analog tacho needs to come back...it was such a beautiful detail. I don&apos;t even care if I can&apos;t actually read the other dials... 😅 The starter button is really bad, you&apos;re 100% right about that. It&apos;s nice that they finally reduced the cabin noise. Also, I think the 992.1 looked much better fromt the outside than this 992.2; those fins don&apos;t do it for me and the separate indicators were iconic.
