  I’m happy you’re back! Some people buy  lottery tickets for years and never win a thing but someone else might win big the 1st time they buy one. I’d been training horses by riding miles out into the Oregon hills and camping out at night. Always alone except for a dog and a horse and never had any trouble. Then one night I’m walking home on the road and get followed. I’m almost 70 now and that’s still the most horrifying thing thats ever happened to me. My grandson and I watched an upright thing run down an Alaska mountain into the tree line a few years ago. They are here too.

  In 1971 my son and I went hunting Moose and blackbear on the Kenai Peninsula with my wife’s uncle and cousin. On that trip, we didn’t hear or see anything strange but her cousin said that he had recently been up there on what they called Lookout Mountain. He was scouting for a moose. He saw some people down in the valley in a clearing chopping wood and making a big fire. He went down to see if they had located any moose. By the time he got down the side of Lookout Mountain and down into the valley there was nothing that he could find. He could smell smoke. He could hear people chopping wood, but he never could find them, and he knew exactly where they should’ve been. Eventually, the sounds quit too it scared him half to death. He was at an evangelistic meeting at Kenai one night after that and came to the conclusion. They must’ve been demons or something. &nbsp;Now he calls it spook Valley.

  Glad to hear you’re back. Hope everything‘s OK. I love your stories. And I love the way you put this one together. 38 years ago I was going to take a trip with The man I knew and we were going to ride the water in Alaska and it would just be the two of us. We would do it the next year cause I would have to take some medical training and we both would have to spend an awful a lot of time getting into our best shape we’ve ever been and I almost went. I didn’t something told me not to go. I don’t know what happened to that man. That’s the closest I’ve ever come to Alaska. Hopefully, I’ll take a trip up there to go see the polar bears. I don’t know polar bears are terrifying. Really enjoyed that.

  What I find interesting is that it was strong enough to kill a grizzly and tear out it&apos;s chest with its bare hands, but it chose to shadow the men for the duration of the excursion. No sounds, no pranks, or obvious &quot;messages&quot; that they weren&apos;t welcome there. It had every opportunity to wipe them out completely--especially when it had been spotted by the two men on that 5th night--yet all it did was move with and observe them. It&apos;s weird to think, but maybe it was protecting them. It certainly wasn&apos;t demonstrating any of the usual anecdotal behaviors of knocking, wailing, throwing rocks, messing with their tents, etc. Hell, it didn&apos;t even mess with their food, possessions, or boats. &nbsp;Clearly, it was an intelligent being.

  My papa use to take me fishing there and no its not the big hair guy if you listened when the guy smelled wet dog. That makes it a dog man and thats exactly what me and my papa saw except there was 3 of them.
