Misleading title & thumbnail, pylons sunk into sediment is not a sunken tube station.

Ah yes, if you're on the tube map, you're a tube station. West Croydon, Dundonald Road, Clapham Junction... ...all tube stations.

I was a school kid at the time of the bombing. Our class went on a trip to docklands on the DLR shortly after it reopened. I remember going past that building and seeing the blinds flapping out of the broken windows and the odd bit of paper flying out. It was all quite surreal.

I remember the explosion - I lived in Dagenham at the time and was 11. I was at my friends house and the bang was so loud even that far away it made the windows shake and I thought her patio doors were going to explode!

I remember hearing that explotion from my friend's house in Walthamstow. Of course at the time we just heard a loud bang, not knowing what it was

I must admit, the new DLR trains bear a striking resemblance to a plague doctor, as if a transformation spell had been cast upon them, turning them into a train. However, I do not find this displeasing.

The maps at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZFcGuhPRCU&t=216">3:36</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZFcGuhPRCU&t=330">5:30</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZFcGuhPRCU&t=499">8:19</a>, <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZFcGuhPRCU&t=710">11:50</a> are complete nonsense as are a lot of the so-called photos, especially <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZFcGuhPRCU&t=527">8:47</a> where a chunk of Battersea power station is visible. The image of the Queen at <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZFcGuhPRCU&t=780">13:00</a> is false, as none of the high-rises had been built yet, and there is a 40cm drop shown between the train doors and platform. There are too many false images to list out. What is this idiocy?

I have to say that I was confused as to why a TUBE STATION was sunk in the London Docks when it didn’t receive its TUBE STATION until 1999 especially when you’re referring to the DLR. I also found it odd the you displayed a train carriage in the video when describing the energy saving escalator. I realise that you probably can’t answer this question, why didn’t the police evacuate the whole area once they had discovered the truck containing the IRA bomb? It certainly would have saved both lives of the men killed in the blast.

The Tube Station Sunk was a bit misleading, I too remember the bombing in 30 years ago in 1996, I was living at Highbury at the time, saw the devastation for myself, and on the news 🗞️, other stuff related to the bombing that too complicated, although prudent to have mentioned the bombing on this film.
