Perhaps once in a lifetime could we hope to be blessed with as great an alien design as the xenomorph that Giger unleashed upon the world, a true masterpiece.

Great movie, great director, great actor :) Fun (and fascinating) fact : Yaphet Kotto said when retired that he had actually seen one large UFO with other witnesses one night, and also had seen an ET when he was very young. He added he had other "contacts" later. He revealed only that after his cinema career because he knew everyone would think he was nuts. For years, he only talked about it to his rabbi (he was jewish), and finally went public a few years before his death in 2021. RIP Yaphet Kotto.

i love the scenes that show the sets, not just in alien, lots of old movies. i love movies that'll just shows the landscape with the wind blowing aswell, just seems to be a lost art now

Love the video quality of this era of docs - so much nicer than 'pure' modern video!

Yaphet Kotto was such a solid actor. Great Bond villain. He and Harry Dean Stanton were just perfect as the overworked/underpaid blue collar "lunchpail guys" in Alien. He was also excellent as the humorless FBI Agent Moseley in Midnight Run.
