The First Officer in the right seat is the pilot monitoring. The Portuguese aviation authority requires that all landings and takeoffs at Funchal airport are performed by the Captain. A while after the takeoff, the First Officer takes over as pilot flying. One camera had a technical defect. This is the reason why the picture from the "First Officer"-camera is missing.
