That moment of the keg being empty, sun coming up and everything is winding down that hits such a specific nostalgic impact, especially since it's mirrored by the movie winding down, and I think we all just wanna hang out with these characters a little longer.

If I remember correctly, Can't Hardly Wait, Detroit Rock City and Empire Records are all movies that take place in a 24 hour period that have a similar vibe to Dazed and Confused but in different eras.

Is it just me or does Joey Lauren Adams have the best voice?

Parker Posey screaming at 08:58. She's really good in the Christopher Guest improv movies, like Best in Show. Just think how many times Jen will say "A dog!" when she watches that one!

I was 16 yr old sophomore in 1976, graduted in 78. This is basically how it was in the 70s. I made a bong in art class and wore farmer jeans

My daughter made a bong in her pottery class in high school. She actually attempted several, but when the teacher noticed earlier attempts were bongs, they'd mysteriously break in the kiln. Her final, successful bong maintained a hidden tube port under a thin flap of clay that was easily drilled through afterwards. I have the bong to this day.

I think it's really cool that a young person like knows the words to all these classic 70's songs. Great watch!!!

I was a high school junior in 1976 and this movie did a great job of capturing our lives back then. Luckily my high school didn't have the hazing and bullying depicted in this movie but everything else was spot on. Most of our physical altercations were with other high schools. Great reaction!!

The movie "Go" is kind of like this. It takes place in a day and night and tells interwoven stories, kind of non-linear. It takes place in the late 90s and I think it's very under rated.
