  It was the most chaotic and unexpected world cup, no body expected croatia to be in the final, belgium to read the semi finals, russia to reach quarter finals, portugal and argentina to get eliminated in ro16, it was without any doubt the best world cup I've ever witnessed🔥

  2018 was My 2nd world cup I watched and it was my favourite after 2022 world cup with the crazy underdogs like Belgium, Croatia, Uruguay and Russia... <br>I remember those matches it was so fun to watch it...

  Man the 2018 World Cup will have a special place in my heart for the rest of my life. Before then I didn’t even watch soccer/football and didn’t even care about sports at all back then. I was 15 back then and I’m French Mexican American btw. The reason I even got into the World Cup was bc I saw my Dad watching our country France play against Argentina, it was on so I figured why not watch along. Funny enough that was the first game I ever saw properly. After seeing them come back from behind to beat Argentina idk why but I got so excited to see how far they would go. After that I literally started watching random games like Belgium v Japan, England v Colombia etc. I’m not even from any of those countries but I just really enjoyed seeing the world duke it out for the greatest trophy. Perfectly enough I went to France for the remainder of their 3 games. I will never forget July 15 2018 when I was in France when we won the World Cup. It was so surreal to see my whole country celebrating together as we shared the world’s greatest prize. After that tho I got into football for life as I’ve been to over 35 games before in 12 different countries. I now follow all types of football content from the euros to Afcon, Copa America etc, along with their qualifiers. Hell I even follow women’s football as well as much as I do with the men’s. But apart from France I really enjoyed the 2018 World Cup, seeing runs like Belgium &amp; Croatia was so inspiring and cool. Many other moments I really enjoyed as well. No doubt for me this was the best World Cup ending ever

  But an interesting fact Since Japan and Senegal had the same points and goal difference, Japan qualified, thus resolving the tiebreaker of which team had received fewer yellow cards.<br><br>Another interesting fact: Korea wasn&apos;t eliminated yet, even after losing both games. With their victory over Germany, Korea would have qualified if Mexico had beaten Sweden, which ultimately didn&apos;t happen.
