There's something to be said about the contrast between Tommy vlogs and Phil/Kristen vlogs.
Phil and Kristen manage to make international travel feel calming and safe.
Tommy sets foot outside and the viewer's heartrate looks like a barcode

Phil being so excited when Tommy won was like a Dad being proud of his son for winning a sports game. Literally so wholesome

I’m sorry Phil. Your friendship with Alex is the most wholesome, sweet and fun thing I’ve seen. This news has broken us, and I can’t imagine what you are going through. But I am here for you, man. And for anyone who’s hit as hard as some of us have been.

‘So long nerds’

Seeing Phil being so excited to be in a Hispanic supermarket is like a kid wanting to go to the park.

This doesn't feel like a vlog, what tommy does feels like a vlog, this feels like dadza is taking you along with him on a nice trip and it's great
