I took Vista Grande from the North then to East Indian Canyon and onto San Jacinto Ridge trail about two weeks ago. Nice area. I agree that there is several medium size ruts along the way.

My Uncle, Aunt & Cousins lived in Pine Cove, we went up to Idyllwild all the time as kids. I haven't been up there in 20 + years, I have plans to take my grandkids up there soon.
