  Probably the first anglo-american video about slovenija that is not just quickly jumping from seaside ..Ljubljana..and Bled.. but actually represented other cities and villages with culinary stops, a bit of hiking and amazing cinematic portraits of nature. Oh and yes, thank you for researching and correct pronunciation of the places you visited. Sit down, A+. Welcome back anytime 🙋‍♂️

  I am from Split (Croatia) and I have often visited Slovenia with my family (in winter and summer). My father loved skiing and adored Slovenia, especially Bohinj. He took me with his students to Komna in 1966 (I was 6 years old). This year (2025) in May, I repeated that trip. I did not manage to get to Dom na Komna again due to possible rain on the way back, but we reached the 20th serpentine (there are 48 of them) and I would have stayed in that forest for days. I will go again soon and I will prepare better, spend the night at the Dom and enjoy the walk. Unfortunately, I can no longer hike, but this is the zigzag path that I walked as a child. Bohinj is full of legends, a sacred place, something most beautiful. Unfortunately, the more these beautiful videos there are, the more tourists come, the bigger the crowds in the season, the higher the prices, and the off-season the cable car does not work, the bad weather, etc. My nephew was speechless when he saw Lake Bohinj. It is my emerald and a part of my heart has remained there. It is as if time has stopped, I still hear the old man on the Devil&apos;s Bridge, the boat ride, Vogel, Govic and my dear Komna. I am coming in September alone so that I can enjoy it completely. I passed on the beauty that his grandfather gave me to my nephew. That young man has been reborn. The video is interesting, but after Bled, I was expecting Bohinj. You should also see the valleys that lead to Triglav. There is no end to the beauty and as long as it is possible, I will come here. The train journey was like a dream. Something should be saved only for the most loyal Bohinj.
