  Writing as a &apos;69 owner here. There are six universal joints in the C2 and C3 driveshaft/axle shafts system. They are likely rusty and crusty. A failed u-joint on your first ride would make you and dad quite sad.<br><br>After adding the &apos;68-69 louvers (wise choice), if dad can afford them, buy the side louver trim pieces which were an option on &apos;69&apos;s.<br><br>The rear wheel bearings are a chore to get to and to service.

  My uncle restored one of these here in the UK when I was younger. It was black too and I had never seen a car like it. It was like a spaceship compared to the Ford Escorts and Nissan Sunnys around it. Personally, I love the look of them. We go to a lot of classic car shows and it’s one of the best things looking at the American Muscle Car section 😊

  They sell rebuild kits for those calipers that are way cheaper than getting new ones, and the old ones tend to weep.

  Michael if you get ahold of another YouTuber the Corvette Ben he does mostly all Corvette content and has his own junkyard. If he doesn&apos;t have the parts you need he can point you in the right direction and is very knowledgeable about Corvettes

  I appreciated your optimism when attacking the brake calipers. &nbsp;However, having owned a C3 for over 40 years, I could have told you that there was no way that they would work after being left alone for over 6 months, especially several years. &nbsp;I have lost count how many times I have rebuilt/replaced my calipers. &nbsp;Great video.
