Im grieved that Mr. Gimlin has suffered from the small mindedness of the mob. He and Mr, Patterson have contributed more than any other researchers seeking to understand and document the existence and nature of this hominin. The question of its existence brings along important implications to millions of people seriously considering the matter. For me, the film is a critical link in my effort to understand. Mr. Gimlin was there witnessing events and the filming itself, and is here now bearing credentials he’s earned over the decades, providing credible eye witness testimony of what happened there that day. He brings his own personal experience of a complex Sasquatch encounter while reporting on many details of the filming, never altering his report, enhancing immeasurably the film’s credibility. Just think how different the film in its context would be in the public eye without his presence there that day. He’s clearly an honorable man and I’m personally very grateful to him for being there and for how he’s managed himself with dignity over these many years.

The thing about telling a lie is you HAVE TO remember EVERYTHING you said and not deviate or embellish said lie.

Pgf is a re enactment of the Alleged sighting of a Bigfoot by William Roe in 1955 . The Breasts , the Slow walk away with casual glance back . Patterson included Sighting in his own book published in 1966, Patterson even did his own sketch of Roes Creature with Breasts

What peopple don't bring to light is that at the time many of the troops returning were ridiculed following orders. It's so draining having friends turn their backs leaving just the hole of an innocent man being a scapegoat. The same is happening again. These people almost demanding him to give an explanation. He's been sentenced again. I claim no side to this. I'm beyond the recurring theme. I chose to remember my dads story seeing what he thaoght was a tree stump stand up walk away. The year it happened was 1955 in western Maryland where the three states come together. If Mr Gimlin wanted to make money from this in any way I say let him. He deserves it. If what the director said about him seemingly acting like he was about to come out and say it is what he believes lit still ends no sway. That's cash grab 101 divide all opinions with the utmost against every individual having a large stake in the subject. Then blindside them with the film but more importantly use any and all conversations to piece together a admittance against their belief. The documentary is basically a weapon aimed at those leading a group. With that there's trust. Trusting them along the way to not misguide them. That is a way of caring for those that follow. The difector has no passion on the subject to me. They want to build up the hype, throw the largest net possible for the first bite. That's a bad sign. You don't throw every net you have unless you have no moore bait. Your hoping to catch some by luck. But we'll see.

All of this that is happening is questionable and, at the very least, unfair to the characters involved. Neither Patterson, much less Gimlin, are among us to defend themselves against the narrative of the new film.

So if someone lies for long enough that makes it true?

Look, we now live in a society where no one cares if you lie for a payday. Grok just reviewed the Paterson film and concluded it was authentic. So who do you believe? And yes, I'm a Bigfoot skeptic..

I find it disturbing that many of the Native Americans that openly expresses knowledge and teachings of such creature are basically being thrown under the bus, just to make federal agencies the good-guys in claiming that such creature does not exists, here in America nor anywhere in the world. It doesn’t matter how much they try to hide it, threaten, interfere with evidence being displaced and vanished, many of us who are not affiliated know, and can feel that they exist. When I look up at the stars, my spirit tells me that a God, if we were truly created, we are not the only special humanoids in the world, and that only we exist, and we are alone in the stars?

Next thing they’ll say is that all the planets including the sun evolves around the Earth. It’s like they want us to go backwards in our free-thoughts.

"Riding for hours" is your first clue here --- Patterson and Gimlin's human scent was covered by the horses scent, bigfoot just didn't smell any humans around --- horses walk on 4 legs so bigfoot did not hear human footsteps. In the film you see Patterson running and the creature just walking and it still out-distanced Patterson, in seconds, that should give/tell you some idea of how large bigfoot was. Anyone dumb enough to believe that was Bob Heironimus in a costume has BIGGER MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES over "is bigfoot real"!

I don't know, I thought one of the guys played a trick on the other - and he was going to eventually tell his friend, but did not have the heart. When one of them died...it became something different. There still is a YouTube video where these guys were laughing about the incident - and they said that it was a hoax...but it obviously went too far.
