I listen to Alan Parson’s Project for almost 30 years. Genius.

In 1977 4 friends and I sat on the living room floor of my best friend's mothers house and we opened the album "I Robot", we listened to it on the Marantz console stereo. I am 63 years old now and I still remember that experience...Yes I said experience because that's what it was. I have been a devoted Parsons fan ever since.

This is not accurate. The Freudiana court battle wasn't one between Parsons and Woolfson. So the Project didn't end in court. Woolfson decided he wanted to go into the Musical field, Parsons wanted to keep to the Project style. So they basically went their seperate ways. There were no incriminations whatsoever, let alone "war". Since the phrase The Alan Parsons Project was coined by Eric Woolfson, who was aware and recognized that Parsons was the bigger name, it was agreed that upon their separation, the Project suffix would be dropped totally from records and reshaped to Live Project for the stage Parsons eventually decided to hit but Woolfson wouldn't. Another reason for the split. <br>And neither is it true that the musician's names didn't appear on the album covers. Oh yes they did. No one had line up and other personnel's lists on their albums as detailed as The Alan Parsons Project. That alledged David Paton accusation of AP not being an accomplished singer is totally made up. I tell you people, I could have done the recount more accurately.

These were the days when your friends all sat around, sometimes silent and just listened.

I would consider all those albums sold as being all the vindication and recognition from the industry a person could want.
