I love falling asleep to interrogations. It’s not too distracting but just enough so I don’t think about anything else.

"I love her to death" might be a poor choice of words.

The middle detective, thin lad, is straight terrifying. He looks 26 and nerdy, and maybe he is, but he talks like a grizzled veteran that’s seen it all. Again, maybe he has… might not take long nowadays; but, I digress.

Suspect is uncommonly disagreeable and assertive, but this dude smacks him down constantly and it’s almost like he can’t believe he’s getting dominated by a boyscout. Kept hammering those themes, cycling through them, and each time he got a little weaker in the knees. That was a masterclass and I’ve seen em all.

15 years for trivially killing, dismembering and concealing his sister. Some mandatory minimums for drug crimes are higher than that! Sad

How eery that the detective mentioned they had a case where someone stuffed two girls into a suitcase and then hearing at the end that he too put this woman in a suitcase.

His heart had to have been pounding when he brought that up. What are the chances?

Not only can this guy not look them in the eye, he can’t even look in their general direction! And he just had a Freudian slip. he just mentioned about coming home and seeing smoke in the backyard. Like a fire had just been put out. They asked him why he thought that was relevant. He meant to say “because you keep asking about why we were burying or burning stuff back there”, but instead he slipped up and said “because you keep asking why we buried her”.
Consciousness of guilt !
