  I would have left way before having kids, the husband was a spineless ah, and didn&apos;t defend his wife. Nah, I&apos;d &nbsp;have been gone the third time, filed for divorce and left.

  She shouldn&apos;t have married her husband in the first place. He was never worth that battle. He didn&apos;t care about his wife enough to stop it. Yet when his wife did to them what they did to her suddenly it&apos;s unfair when it&apos;s happening to his parents. Her husband and his family created that monster then got upset when it got loose.

  My opinion: She overdid it a little bit, BUT ALL of this, and I mean absolutely all, could&apos;ve been avoided if the HUSBAND wasn&apos;t useless and protected his wife from the beginning...

  10 years. OP put up with that behaviour for 10 years and she was told to suck it up when she raised the issue. So, she returned the energy for how long? A few months? And suddenly everyone&apos;s butthurt about it.<br><br>The best thing for her would have been to leave the spineless husband before having any children with him. Her anger was justified, and I had no issue with what she did, but the part with the kids did make me uncomfortable.

  The problem is her kids seeing this in their house. Cruelty for cruelty doesn&apos;t work when it&apos;s hurting innocent parties. Also, this is her husband&apos;s fault.
