I don’t like how the interviewer kept telling her to hold her microphone up. That came across as stern correcting. Sharmila is so graceful.

I've felt this across several of your interviews as this one with Sharmila Tagore and others like Rishi Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. It sometimes feels as though old interviews and deeply personal family remarks are brought back more to create confrontation than to understand the person sitting in front of you. A mother's advice to her daughter or a private conversation between husband and wife carries context that cannot always be explained on a public stage. Reframing those moments with labels can unintentionally take the discussion away from what really matters. <br>These are legendary personalities. As a viewer, I come to hear their experiences and insights. Giving them more space to speak, interrupting less, and keeping the focus on the guest would make these conversations even more meaningful. <br>One small suggestion: for senior guests like Sharmila Tagore, a lapel mic or mic stand would also be a more thoughtful choice.
