  Best video I’ve seen in a long time! I’m from Callanish in Lewis, live right beside the stones. If you’re ever stuck like you were that night freezing in the tent don’t be scared to knock on doors and ask the locals for help. Guarantee at the very least you’d get given towels and a duvet but if it’s an old granny she’ll take you in and make you a 3 course meal 😅 The nicest people you’ll come across, don’t be scared to ask for help.

  From NZ here. I cycle toured the outer hebrides and had the same experience with that coffee shop Temple Harris. I actually didnt want to leave!

  this may be my favorite film of you yet. Despite the road walking (which seemed tough), there was lots of room for pure enjoyment of these spectacular landscapes. I appreciated that you tried to pinpoint some of what constituted that joy, but also left room for us to wonder, which made the film quite intimate. Thanks so much for bringing us along.
