The fact that 4 Wonder Weapons is 1 hour and 20 minutes long shows how much detail they put into this stuff

Crazy that a wooden frame can withstand the aerodynamic forces of a jet.

The germans were making Jet Bombers out of the material equivalent of popsicle sticks and hot glue about 80ish years ago.

Meanwhile Boeing couldn't seem to remember how door bolts were supposed to work.

I used to think these "wonder weapons" were decades ahead of everyone else. This documentary does a great job explaining why engineering alone couldn't overcome production, logistics, and timing.

David, Back in the mid 1980's, I worked at the Moraine Airpark in Ohio. There was an old guy who had an Me 163 Komet. It wasn't airworthy because the canopy had melted. I loved that aircraft. Especially the little prop in the front. I didn't learn what that was until 1990.

Every time I see a B2, I think of the Horton brothers.
