In 1998, an isolated boarding school in the French Alps suddenly closed. The official explanation was simple: Structural problems. But according to the account of a former student, something far more disturbing may have been happening inside Saint-Antoine Boarding School. Students were disappearing. Each time, the explanation was the same: Their parents had come to take them home. But no one saw their parents arrive. No cars appeared outside. No luggage was packed. There were no goodbyes. The students simply vanished. Then Lucas began hearing footsteps moving through parts of the school that were supposed to be empty. Other students warned him about a forbidden area beneath the building—a place they called “the special room.” And one night, shortly after midnight, an old telephone in an empty hallway began to ring.
