The other difference from 91 to 95, Shane. The Kliq, wasn't in control back in 91 as they were in 95.

As much as I love Shane just being Troy Martin (himself) answering questions from fans, a part of me wants him to do a single episode answering questions as the Franchise. This question would be a doozy. "Shawn Michaels, kiss my ass!"

The Franchise did more for the business than many people care to acknowledge. Thanks for your contributions Shane, I enjoyed discovering your work in ECW, I was only 9 years old when ECW folded.

Always figured that Shawn hated Shane because of the time Douglas replaced an injured Michaels as a Rocker for a couple house shows in the early 90's

Met Shane at the Orlando Ale House after one of the TNA PPVs.. What an incredible dude!! He asked me more about me than I could about him, great great guy to meet in a business where that isn't always true.

Shane Douglas in ECW was money. The franchise character was one of my favorites. Shane had one of the worst injuries ever - fractured palate - and a busted elbow at one point. Tough guy.

Shane, I love your stories, man! And they’ve never changed. You are one of the most honest, intelligent people I’ve heard in the wrestling business. Keep doing what you’re doing! 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

I never bought the "25 guys" story either. Now if it was the Barbarian, i could believe that.

Another one. Shawn was a great talent in the ring as well as entertainer but an absolute A Hole outside of the ring along with his politicking. I remember you telling this story with James. Those makeup people worked him over really good. 😂. As much of a genius Vince is, he made some dumb ass decisions as well, prime example with this situation of having you get the title like this. This story never gets old Franchise. I appreciate you for sharing these in depth stories. I’ll catch you on the next one. Have a great weekend.
