  To answer your question of how they rebuilt the village, Yamato used his Wood Release to restore a lot of the infrastructure. It took a few weeks to a couple months to be livable again. And as you saw, everyone that got killed in the attack was revived by Nagato so they didn’t have to make any more babies just yet 😂

The rinnegan or samsara eye is a reference to Buddhism and Hinduism, specifically the 6 realms of reincarnation: animal, human, preta, naraka, asura, and deva/tendo. The reason for the missiles and lasers is that asura who are evil demigods from Hindu myth are capable of using magical versions of modern day weapons like lasers, swords, missiles, and nukes, hence the asura path being a walking arsenal. The asura path creates its weapons directly from the user’s chakra. It is the 2nd strongest path behind the deva/tendo path.

  Jiraiya figured out who pain was and who was controlling them because not only was one of his dead students there and his others weren’t, but the other pains were people they defeated before so basically nagato used old enemies they defeated to be pain. Jiraiya figured out it could only be one person that knew yahiko and the others they defeated

He lost aura getting trapped by Zabuza tho, but then gained it back after saving Naruto with the Late Arrival technique. <br><br>In essence, he put himself in danger just put someone else in danger just to aura farm 😂 and we learn later in the series he could’ve one tapped him from the jump
