Hey everyone,

I hope you like this one! This game was actually very difficult when it came to some of the puzzles, but the chat and I figured everything out. If you see some cuts in the video, that’s why. I hope it doesn’t take away from the flow of the game too much. I just cut out some points where we got stuck…

Enjoy! 🤝💚

I can't shake off the thought that whoever made this game, has seen some shit, maybe this game was an oppurtunity to deal with trauma

It took me until the end to piece together everything but the realization of the stages of grief and the comfort of routine when it feels like your world is falling apart is crazy. I love the way the "narrator" ended up being a part of the character as his consciousness and throughout exploring his grief the narrator insisted on the character to not push forward. To stay in the comfort of pushing away the negative feelings and blocking out what happened because healing is painful. One of my favorite videos I've watched by woolz!

I mean... it is hard to figure out the next step and what to do while grieving. Healing from it is long, repetitive, confusing, and draining process - so the game seemed to nail that.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but in addition to how beautifully this game captures grief, mourning, and especially experiencing multiple sudden deaths, I get the vibe like this is representative of Samuel experiencing this through EMDR therapy.

5 stages of grief and trauma and self isolation packed into Stanley parable horror game. No jump scares or anything. It’s just “face your fears and come out okay, it’s okay to cry, and grieve.”
