  As a PA native, I never go hiking or camping without my sidearm. It at least gives me 8 chances to live if some not deer comes near me.

  I live in pgh. And frequent the Ohio Pyle woods and far northern woods just before Erie. We have seen and heard many things that didn&apos;t make sense. Theres a lot going on in these forrests that we don&apos;t know about

  I can&apos;t stress how stupid it is camping in the mountains alone and without a firearm. Why people go looking for trouble ive never understood? If you know the place you&apos;re going has a bizarre or strangeness. Why on earth will you camp their? And being alone is asking for unwanted trouble. NEVER go in the Mountains alone? People who investigate bizarre and strange cases will always be with company. I don&apos;t do tents anymore. It&apos;s, just not safe these day&apos;s. When I do ghost or paranormal activities. I always bring friends to aid in my investigations and exploring. And different perspectives on the area im in is a big help. I always listen to the Park or Forest Ranger&apos;s and any advice there willing to share about the area. I bring a company of friends and usually they are armed.

  I like how most people outside of Pennsylvania only think of Philly or Pitt. There is an entire world between those two cities here in PA. Also yes to everyone that said mountains not hills haha
